Hey everyone!

So I didn’t do a cool data project, but wanted to see what everyone thought about this one:

It was from last year. How strong is the data and the graph?

  1. One of the points in the accompanying article is that ownership doesn’t equal control – a hedge fund that owns a lot of corporate shares may have little actual control over a company’s behavior. What may be more interesting is the sense in which this network shows interconnection – that interconnection can be a vulnerability at a time of financial crisis. Would be very interesting to learn more about whether this model helps spread/explain some of the spreading collapse in 2008…
