I wanted to highlight the very different roles played by the traditional media and by citizen commentators, though, as the days wore on, they both descended to speculation.
Nicely constructed (or is it reconstructed?) story here. You did a great job of pulling in all the aspects of the story, including the human element and the ongoing questions and hope. Storify seems like an ideal medium for a story like this.
